Mission Statement
Underground Sounds is the creation of three Chico State journalism students, who hope to connect a diverse audience of music lovers to local musicians and lesser-known acts. We strive to provide readers with creative stories and multi-media focusing on electronic dance music, rock and rap music.

Sharon Martin
Sharon Martin is a third year journalism student at Chico State. She is 20 years old and was born in Chico, California, but raised in the small town of Orland. Sharon has always had a passion for music which include metal, thrash, hardcore, alternative, rock, classic rock, folk and many more. Sharon hopes to one day become a writer for a sports or music magazine.
Caroline Cantrall
Kindra Robinson
Caroline Cantrall is the PR director, lead blogger and street team manager for EPIC Productions. Caroline attends Chico State and is studying public relations and music. She is also a writer for Into The Am, another production and promotion company that is based in Southern California. She wants to work in the EDM industry, but for now is just doing what she loves; attending events and writing about them.
Kindra Robinson moved to Chico, Calif. in 2006 to attend Butte College, where she graduated with a degree in Social and Behavioral Science. She later attended Chico State University, where she briefly studied public relations before deciding to move back to Sacramento, Calif. Robinson is 26 years old, and in her free time enjoys hanging out with random strangers.
